Giggle & Hoot Pie Company is rooted in a lifetime of family farming and artisan food craftsmanship.

Sandy grew up on her dad, Norman’s dairy farm in Berkshire, where good food, local produce, and hard work were simply part of everyday life. Her love of pie-making began in her family kitchen, baking alongside her mum Pam, and later selling their pies to local shops while raising her children.

That same passion for traditional food led Sandy and her husband Andy to establish Two Hoots Cheese, where together they created Barkham Blue, recognised as one of the country’s finest blue cheeses, having twice won Supreme Champion at the British Cheese Awards. In 2011, their daughter Nia joined the family business, continuing the tradition into the next generation. After 23 years of crafting artisan cheese, the family retired from cheesemaking and passed the business to Sandy’s cousin at Village Maid Cheese, ensuring the family legacy lived on.

Stepping back from cheese felt like a natural moment to return to where it all began. And so, Giggle & Hoot Pie Company was born - with Sandy, Andy and Nia working side by side once again.

Today, Giggle & Hoot brings together treasured family recipes, deep farming heritage, and decades of artisan food expertise to create hearty, flavour-filled savoury and sweet pastries. From farmers’ markets to retail and wholesale, every pastry is made with care, quality ingredients, and a genuine love of traditional baking.
